Welp the time has come to introduce you all to The Troll Named Mannie.
One day I was out walking around in the town named Faysphire and I happened to see movement under a growth of treeroots. Upon closer inspectin I saw a troll looking back at me. I bent down to take a closer look and he dodged deeper into the green of the tree. I felt sorry for the little fella, and started to use cooing words on him, to let him know I wasnt to be scared of. I noticed thast he was interested in what I was doing and he started to come closer towards me. I spent hours that day talking away to him , as he listened to my words, and even tried to talk back to me.
The next day again I came back with a basket of food for lunch, and some more storys to share with my little friend. He slowly started to come closer and closer to me to see what it was I had in my basket. I took out a ham sandwich and laid it on a napkin beside me, His nose twitched, he took a quick look at me, then dashed and grabed the sandwich and ran back to the safety of his tree.
For a week I would come verry day and share my lunch with my little friend. Slowly a bond was formed and he would sit beside me to eat and not run away. It also got to a point that we could talk back and forth, not in fluent english mind you, but close enough that we could understand eachother. That is when I found out that the Troll was named Mannie.
Soon weeks became months and Months became years. we would share our lunches together.
Then came the time that the small town of Faysphire just did not excite me anymore, and I thought it was time to move on. I learned of a new nation called Windurst, and it sounded like a new and exciting place to explore.
I went to have lunch with mannie , and told him of my plans to leave and of the nation of Windurst. Upon hearing this I could tell he was very sad, although he would never admit to it, being a Troll and all. So we said our good-bye's and even a fast little hug.
The next day I started my journey to The Nation of Windurst. and what a long journey that was! (as noted in other storys of Expresso).
When I got to Windurst I ment alot of new friends, and one of these friends was a Tarutaru Named Gilda. One day when we were out walking , Gilda said to me " Do you get the feeling that we are being watched"? I told her that I always seem to have that feeling these days. As we walked along and talked of things like the stars and the sea, we both cought movement behind us, but as we spun around to look , there was nothing there. So without saying anything to eachother we continued on our walk, walking more slowley and keeping an eye out behind us. There again was movement, but we continued to walk.
Finally Gilda couldn't take it anymore and she turned around and shouted "STOP FOLLOWING US!" There was no reply. So we decided to head back to the city gates. Just before we got inside the gates again Gilda Turned around and shouted " Look i have had enough, come out and show yourself!"
To my Suprise out trotted Mannie! "Mannie" I shouted and he came right over to me looking sideways at Gilda. He told me that he had followed me from Faysphire and that he had been watching me and my friend for days. He wanted me to introduce him to Gilda that he was very intreged by her and her spirit.
And so the introductions were made, and a new Love hate relationship born!
